Item Acute myeloid leukemia(Харківський Національний Медичний Університет, 2017-05-16) Bajbouj, Omar; Alsharif, Mahmoud; Hloba, Nataliia; Karmazina, IrynaAcute myeloid leukemia (AML) that is also known as non-lymphocytic anemia. Based on 2009–2013 cases and deaths analysis, the number of new cases of acute myeloid leukemia was 4.1 per 100,000 men and women per year and the number of deaths was 2.8 per 100,000 men and women per year. In 2016 AML constituted 19,950 from estimated new cases and 1.2 % of all new cancer cases with 10,430 of estimated deaths and 1.8 % of all cancer deaths. According to data review of 2006–2012, percent of patients surviving 5 years is 26.6 %. Based on 2011–2013 data, approximately 0.5 percent of men and women will be diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at some point during their lifetime, thus AML is the most common leukemia in adults, that proves the importance of its research.Item Adaptability of cardiorespiratory system in normotensive and hypotensive female students with different impact of the autonomic nervous system subdivisions(2019-05-15) Goncharova, Аlina; Pavlov, S.; Pavlova, O.; Razumovskiy, A.; Kaur, A.It was carried out the analysis of the body adaptability in the situation of training loads stress in students with normotension and hypotension and predominance of different types of autonomic nervous system regulatory influence on the cardiorespiratory system. In 103 second-year female students of KNMU systolic, diastolic blood pressure, pulse pressure, heart rate were measured, the Kerdo index and the Robinson index were determined. Functional breathing tests with breathing delay on the inhalation (Stange) and on the exhalation (Genchi) were conducted. They are the indicators of the cardiorespiratory system functional state and sensitivity to a decrease of oxygen saturation in arterial blood (hypoxemia) and carbon dioxide increase in blood (hypercapnia). Psycho-emotional stress in second-year female students causes a deficiency in the body adaptation reserves. Formation of adaptating to learning stress is carried out at the limit of the functional capabilities of the body and may lead to a breakdown of adaptationItem Adaptation index and functional state of central nervous system in medical students during the period of intensive learning activity(2019-05-15) Vaschuk, Мykola; Sokol, Olena; Khorshunova, Anastasiia; Chernysh, Hanna; Yacenko, AlinaIn research, an assessment has been conducted of the adaptation potential indicators of medical students with different individual-typological features of higher integrative processes with the determination of the functional state of the CNS by the following quantitative criteria: functional level of the system, stability of the reaction and level of functional capabilities that were determined using simple visual motor reaction. The property of functional mobility was determined by the magnitude of the maximum speed for an unmistakable differentiation of positive and inhibitory stimuli. The adaptation score was calculated using the L.H. Harkavy with distribution by type of adaptive response of female students: Group 1 (2%) with stress response; Group 2 (17%) with a workout reaction; Group 3 (31%) with a calm activation reaction; Group 4 (47%) with an increased activation reaction and Group 5 (3%) with a reactivation reaction. During the initial stages of stress, an increase in excitation processes was observed. During the training reaction, a low level of immune system reactivity is reflected in the severity of inhibitory processes. With calm activation, inhibition processes intensified in the physiological range. With increased activation, the processes of excitation rather predominated over the processes of inhibition. During the reactivation reaction, excessive excitation processes prevailed.Item Application of cardioplegic solution in clinical practice(Харківський Національний Медичний Університет, 2007-05-16) Bibhu, Charan Nayak; Hloba, Nataliia; Isaieva, InnaItem Blood pressure levels in trained and untrained foreign students(Харківський національний медичний університет, 2017-05-16) Sridharan, Sabareesh; Kalaivani, Baskar; Kandeeswari, Rajasaimani; Hloba, NataliiaItem Cardiopulmonary resuscitation(Харківський Національний Медичний Університет, 2016-05-18) Lovepreet, Kaur Sodhi; Isaieva, Inna; Karmazina, IrynaThe cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) emergency procedure functions is to firstly manually try to pump the patient’s blood into their heart, and secondly to pass oxygen into the patient’s lungs and blood and to keep blood circulation going and to keep the brain and heart supplied with oxygenated blood. By doing this the patient is saved from permanent brain damage.Item Causes and physiological mechanisms of myasthenia gravis(Харківський Національний Медичний Університет, 2016-05-18) Donthula, S.; Hloba, Nataliia; Karmazina, IrynaDisorders caused by impaired function of neuromuscular junction are seen fairly often, and their mechanisms still remain unclear. All disorders of this group are considered painless, because in the patients the painless muscle fatigue is observed. The objective of this work was to analyze the existing data and to determine the possible reasons and physiological mechanisms of one of those disorders – myasthenia gravis.Item Certain aspects of adaptological influences on the development of psychophysiological addiction(2019-05-15) Tishchenko, A.; Lisina, A.; Yurkova, O.; Tishchenko, M.The purpose of the study was the investigation of the relationship between psycho-emotional lability and the development of addiction to adaptogens at the physiological level. Variants of abuse of certain adaptogen types were simulated, which helped to deepen the understanding of the physiological basis of the negative influence of stress-limiting action of adaptogens in the context of the development of addiction. The study allowed to reveal the essential role of psychological causes in the development of psychophysiological addiction to adaptogens. The basis was taken data on the positive effects of adaptogens on the body and the presence of a specific contingent of individuals transition to the degree of excessive use non-food adaptogens in everyday life.Item Challenges of adaptation to physiological factors in persons with sickle cell disease(Харьковский национальный медицинский университет, 2017-05) Asiome, W.; Karmazina, Iryna; Isaieva, InnaSickle cell disease (SCD) is characterized by intermittent vaso-occlusive events and chronic hemolytic anemia which result in tissue ischemia leading to acute and chronic pain as well as injuring of bones, lungs, liver, kidneys, brain, eyes, and joints. About 50 % of children with SCD experience either an overt or silent cerebral infarct; hemorrhagic stroke and aneurysm are more common in adultsItem Circulatory dynamics during exercise(2015-05-12) Brian Amoah-Danful, Andrew; Кармазина, Ирина Станиславовна; Исаева, Инна Николаевна; Karmazina, Iryna; Isaieva, InnaPhysical activity is accompanied by one of the most natural for the body's adaptive responses, which requires a good interaction of all parts of the circulatory system. The fact that skeletal muscles make up to 40 % of body weight, and the intensity of their activity may vary within very wide limits, puts them in a special position compared with other organs. Therefore, in the process of evolution close relationship of muscle contraction and cardiovascular system has been developed creating, as far as possible, the conditions for maximal muscle blood flow, even at the expense of decreased blood flow in other organs and systems which is regulated by neural and humoral mechanisms.Item Comparative evaluation of results of surgical treatment of acute adhesive intestinal obstruction(2019-03-28) Вulynina, O.; Senna, D.The students take the exams every six months and it results very often in the malfunction of organism systems, in particular overfatique and nervous breakdown. It is conditioned not only by a high tension during the revising for exams but also by the pathological fear of the exams that is rather spread in all the countries across the world. It should be noted that many reasons for having fears are available, in particular a possibility to lose social status; personal frustration, isappointment of friends, parents, the loss of their love, waste of time for the repetition of the examination. Hence, this investigation is topical from the standpoint of the prevalence of the problem of a sense of fear and nervousness before the exams among the students.Item Concept of adaptation in students of medical university of different nationalities(Харківський національний медичний університет, 2018-05-16) Avijot Singh SohiArabic males were found to have effective stress tolerance hence better adaptation. Indian females were found to have good stress tolerance and better adaptation.Item Contraception: physiological methods(Харківський Національний Медичний Університет, 2016-05-18) Rasanpreet, Kaur; Ekpreet, Kaur; Hloba, Nataliia; Isaieva, Inna; Karmazina, IrynaVarious methods of contraception are known nowadays, and they keep evolving. The main methods are coitus interruptus, the Ogino-Knauss or rhythm method, Sympto-thermal method, Billings method, usage of ovulation predictor kit and lactational amenorrhea method. The objective of this work was to find out the physiological mechanisms of main methods of contraception.Item Correlates of autonomous nervous and immune systems at intellectual exertion of medical students in conditions of combined action of environmental stressors(2019-05-15) Sokol, O.; Polishchyk, T.; Khorshunova, A.; Kadnai, O.; Volkov, I.In the process of research, an assessment of the indicators of the medical students adaptive capacity with different levels of physical fitness was made in conditions of the combined action of intellectual exertion and meteorological environmental factors. The functional state determination, the degree of tension of the regulatory systems and functional reserves were evaluated by calculating the Harkavy nonspecific reactivity index and the Bayevsky adaptation potential with the use of correlation analysis. Correlation analysis of these indexes revealed a significantly strong direct correlation, which was 0.72. Thereby, the Harkavy index (HI) at the second stage of the experiment in sharp fluctuations in meteorological environmental factors conditions reflected the level of adaptation mechanisms stress validly.Item Cytokines and c-reactive protein trigger the hemostasis system imbalance in inflammation(Харківський національний медичний університет, 2017-05-16) Al-Rihani, Al-Rihani; Karmazina, IrynaItem Dependence of functional assymetry on features of communicative ability among students of KHNMU(2020-05) Bulynina, Oksana; Bulynin, V.The communicative competence of a doctor is a professionally significant quality. The profession of a doctor implies intensive and prolonged communication: with patients, their relatives, medical personnel - from nurses to doctors, heads of medical institutions. The professional success of a doctor depends largely from the ability to communicate, establish and develop relationships with people. Good psychological contact with the patient helps to more accurately collect an anamnesis, get a more complete and deeper understanding of the patient.Item Eating attitude disorders in young women(Харківський національний медичний університет, 2017-05-16) Lance-Onyeiwu Akunna, Isaac; Nwokotubo, Beulah; Isaieva, InnaItem Effect of music on indexes of cardiovascular system in healthy young people(Харківський національний медичний університет, 2018-05-16) Kumar YogeshwaranConsidering influence of music of different genres, tempo and emotional color on activity of cardiovascular system in healthy young people, that was seen in current research results, application of music as a method of relaxation or as an adjuvant therapy for some conditions, including both psychic and physical, can be a useful instrument. However, as music is multicomponent, and as reaction of each individual may differ based on his personal experience, leading to conditioned reflexes realization and changes of predicted autonomic responses, further study in this field for systematization of achieved results is necessary.Item Emotional stress adaptation aspects on the background of organizm general electromagnetic irradiation (EMI)(2017-05) Yanioglo, O.; Krukovets, N.; Sokol, E.The distinguishing feature of the modern human vital activity conditions is the environment saturation with various factors that affect physical and psychophysiological state, working capacity and resistance to diseases. These include electromagnetic waves, generated by the variety of industrial sources, communications means, scientific research, medicine and in everyday life. Therefore, one of the most promising ways of maintaining vital activity at the desirable health level is the actualization of the reserves of psychophysiological adaptation to various influences. The present work purpose is the study of emotional stress adaptation vegetative components under conditions of organism low intensity general electromagnetic irradiation.Item Evaluation of spatial contrast sensitivity of the visual system of students(Харківський національний медичний університет, 2018-05-16) Maslova, Yuliia; Maslova, NataliaThe contrast sensitivity research showed, that contrast sensitivity increases over the entire frequency range, there is an asymmetry between the right and left eyes, which reaches the maximum values at frequencies of 5.5 and 20 cycles / deg. These changes indicate an increase of the intensity of processing the information of the visual system in the nearest vision zone. The initial asymmetry of functioning characterizes the way of adaptation to own structural organization of the visual system.
