Abstract
In the article an attempt to find the most worthy arguments for and against distant education has been made . It has been concluded that it is the motivation that plays the leading role for making good progress in education, not the form of education.

У статті зроблено спробу знайти найбільш гідні аргументи за та проти дистанційної освіти. Зроблено висновок, що для гарного прогресу в освіті провідну роль відіграє мотивація, а не система навчання.
