Abstract: The aim of our research was to study the peculiarities of metabolic disorders in an interrelationship with the imbalance of adipocytokines in patients with comorbid non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and diabetes mellitus (DM) type 2. Decrease in omentin level and increase in serum level of RBP -4 in patients with NAFLD and DM type 2 should be considered as a biomarker for the formation of metabolic syndrome and activation of the liver fibrogenesis.
