Abstract
Combined therapy by ramipril with mevacor has a positive effect on lipid metabolism, as well as on reducing the activity of the proinflammatory cytokine ─ tumor necrosis factor-α, that generally favored the course of hypertension and metabolic syndrome in these patients.
