Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the nature and prognostic factors of liver pathology in adolescent boys with obesity, delayed puberty and type 1 diabetes mellitus. 46% of obese boys were diagnosed with MASLD. 70% of them have signs of atherogenic dyslipidemia. In 65% of boys with delayed puberty, signs of atherogenic dyslipidemia were detected. Type 1 diabetes mellitus was detected in 40% of boys. All of them had atherogenic dyslipidemia. The study showed that adolescents with obesity, delayed puberty and diabetes mellitus have atherogenic dyslipidemia.
