The dependence of the quality of life of patients with posttraumatic defects of the upper jaw from orthopedic treatment

Abstract

The treatment and rehabilitation of patients with acquired maxillo-facial defects (AMFD) are the most actual medical-social problems of modern dentistry. In the system of specialized dental care important adequate and comprehensive rehabilitation measures, as AMFD most often accompanied by severe functional and esthetic disorders leading to restriction of life, to social exclusion and deep sociopsychological problems of the existence of the patient.
