Abstract
Determination of the main parameters of carbohydrate metabolism in the organism of warm-blooded animals under the influence of polyethyleneglycol showed: the reduction in serum glucose, lactate, TTH, insulin, T4 and the increase of T3 and the activity of LDH in the experimental group of animals testify to the activation of catabolic processes and inhibition of reductive syntheses, as nonspecific protective reaction pricesavalide of the effect of PEG-400.
