Abstract
Interviews and questionnaires were conducted among dental listeners of TI to find out their attitude to the organization of educational activities and the possibilities of using innovative learning technologies in the course of studying the discipline. It was found that the students of the cycle consider it interesting to use projects in the educational process, although a significant number of students had difficulty implementing the technology, in particular in group work. Thus, this indicates the need for special pedagogical work to enhance the professional development of the course students. During the ascertaining stage of the experiment, a conversation was held among the dental listeners of TI of the EG advanced training cycle to determine the degree of understanding by dental listeners of TI of the concept of "project-based learning technology" and their attitude to the possibilities of using project technology in the study of the the cycle of TI «Modern views on the problems of periodontal diseases in adults and children». Therefore, the conclusion is that the dental listeners of TI of the advanced training cycle were interested in studying the discipline «Modern views on the problems of periodontal diseases in adults and children» using project-based learning technology, were motivated to try working in teams, completing various types of projects. However, they expressed a desire to attend an introductory seminar on the possibilities of implementing project-based learning in the educational process.
