Abstract

With local application of montmorillonite-based dental paste and applications for home use, the CGM in patients with CGM I decreased significantly from 2.31 ± 0.13 to 1.16 ± 0.04 (P < 0.001) after 1 month, and with local application of Metrogil-Denta applications and Colgate 12 toothpaste for home use, it decreased from 2.32 ± 0.12 to 1.32 ± 0.05 (P < 0.001). However, there was a significant difference between these indicators (P < 0.017). Six months after complex treatment of patients, the following changes in indicators were observed compared to the 1-month observation period. When using applications and toothpaste for home use based on the mineral montmorillonite and with the local application of Metrogil-Denta applications and Colgate 12 toothpaste for home use, the IG increased to 1.31 ± 0.06 and 1.42 ± 0.04, respectively (P > 0.05). Thus, at long-term follow-up (after 6 months) with the use of applications and toothpaste for home use based on the mineral montmorillonite and with the local application of Metrogil-Denta applications and Colgate 12 toothpaste for home use in patients with CGD, with a difference between drug treatments of 6 months, the GI decreased from 2.31 ± 0.13 (before treatment) to 1.39 ± 0.04 and from 2.32 ± 0.12 to 1.61 ± 0.03, respectively (P < 0.001).
