Medical and social aspects of diseases that are priorities for the healthcare system in the world and in Ukraine

Abstract

The problem of diseases that are priorities for the healthcare system has exceptional importance both globally and nationally. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the main causes of premature mortality worldwide remain cardiovascular, oncological, and respiratory diseases, diabetes mellitus, as well as infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, and emerging viral infections. Their high morbidity and mortality rates create a significant burden on the economy, the social sphere, and the healthcare system.
