Abstract

Congenital aplasia of the uterus and vagina occurs from 1 in 5000 to 1 in 20000 among newborn girls. Clinical case. A 16-year-old patient A. was admitted to the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital No.1 of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Children's Gynecology on 18.11.2016 with complaints on the absence of menstruation.Clinical diagnosis: Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome. The patient was recommended to undergo elective surgical treatment. The operation of vaginal grafting with a segment of the sigmoid colon was performed after preoperative preparation, on 30th November, 2016. The postoperative period was uneventful
