Studies have shown that there is elevated of level matrix metalloproteinases-2 (MMP-2), MMP-9, MMP-13 in patients of acute myocardial infarction. In the future we planned to study MMP-13 and tissue inhibitors of matrix metalloproteinases-4 in patients with acute myocardial infarction with the presence and absence of type 2 diabetes.uk_UA
