Abstract

In recent decades, the approach to teaching anatomy has undergone significant changes. Students no longer spend time in dissection rooms searching for specific anatomical structures. Today, they require only the most essential foundational knowledge of anatomy, with a clear clinical focus. However, the material offered for study should be both interesting and useful, helping students to consciously assimilate and understand the medical terminology of Latin-Greek origin, which they will encounter and use in their professional practice. The Aim of the Study: To examine the connection between the structure of certain human skull components and the vast body of myths, legends, religious beliefs, customs, and worldviews. Materials and Methods: Theoretical: review and analysis of scientific-methodological, journalistic, and historical literature.
