Abstract: The review features the problem of diagnosing one of the most common pathologies of the contemporary world –non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Data from experimental and clinical studies on the importance of various instrumental and biochemical methods of non-invasive diagnosis of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and liver fibrosis (LF) are pre-sented. New non-invasive diagnostic methods of NASH and LF are discussed.
