| Abstract: | Conclusion: Although aortic dissection and myocardial infarction are regarded as mutually exclusive diseases, in supravalvular localization of dissection, secondary myocardial infarction might occur. Since caffeine-containing dietary supplements gained much popularity nowadays, and taking several references to aortic dissection associated with these products (including ours) into account, it is worth considering these supplements as one of the risk factors for aortic dissection. |
