Abstract

The results of the study of liver fibrogenesis in obese children are presented. The N-terminal propeptides and C-terminal telopeptides of type I collagen in the blood serum of children were studied. Non-invasive diagnostic methods using serum biomarkers of liver fibrosis, such as N-terminal propeptides and C-terminal telopeptides of type I collagen, have confirmed their diagnostic sensitivity in establishing the early stages of liver fibrosis in obese children.
