At the same time, information technology, since its inception, became the crucial technology of our time. Now computers are the integral part of modern culture and are the factor of economic and social growth in the whole world. Moreover, this area continues growing at a striking rate. Every day new technologies appear and present ones become obsolete almost immediately after initiation. Adaptation of the future medical workers to the modern information space is a complex task and can be partially solved within the bounds of medical informatics course.Item Adapting to the conditions of Ukraine the best world experience in the health of the nation: challenges and prospects(Інститут гуманітарних і соціальних наук Національного університету «Львівська політехніка», 2021-06-16) Batyuk, Liliya; Chovpan, GannaThe following world best practices for the development and improvement of the nation's health have been singled out for further adaptation to Ukraine's conditions: the main function of the state is to create a motivational space for citizens to take responsibility for their own health (modern German and French policies); creation of a network of rehabilitation institutions (rehabilitation centers), a network of palliative care institutions in district centers (Latvian experience); a new tender policy that will improve patient outcomes and create value in the health care system (the experience of the UK, Spain, Canada, the Netherlands and other countries); providing psychological care to seriously ill patients not only in specialized medical institutions, but also in centers, organized by charitable and public organizations (USA); introduction of the Standard according to which the rehabilitation of patients (helping patients to adapt and develop skills and ability to be independent in society, improving their quality of life) can be preventive, restorative, supportive and palliative (EU).Item Aggregation behavior of novel heptamethine cyanine dyes upon their binding to native and fibrillar lysozyme(2017) Vus, K.; Tarabara, U.; Kurutos, A.; Ryzhova, O.; Gorbenko, G.; Trusova, V.; Gadjev, N.; Deligeorgiev, T.Item Algorithm for making decisions based on fuzzy network models in problems of medical diagnostics and forecasting(Київський політехнічний інститут імені Ігоря Сікорського, 2021-04-21) Batyuk, Liliya; Chovpan, GannaThe proposed algorithm for solving the problem to diagnose the addition of secondary bacterial pneumonia and to prescribe antibiotic therapy in a timely manner in patients with COVID-19 can be used for the problem of decision making, in which the values of local criteria are characterized by blur.Item Aluminum Oxide Nanopowders Sintering at Hot Pressing Using Direct Current(2020-12) Gevorkyan, Edwin; Nerubatskyi, V; Chyshkala, V.; Morozova, O.The article researches the regularities of aluminum oxide nanosized powders structure formation at hot pressing by direct current transmission. It is known that in the human population, the number of normally functioning suppressor genes varies in different individuals at birth. The aim of the study was to assess the probability of cancer development in an individual with a different initial number of undamaged normally functioning antioncogenes. On the basis of the probabilistic mathematical model of carcinogenesis, the most probable age of cancer development depending on the number of intact antioncogenes was assessed. As a result of the studies, the probability of cancer development depending on the age of the patient is estimated. The dependence of the probability of cancer development in an individual on the number of undamaged antioncogenes is also investigated. The analysis of the significance of the number of tumor suppressor genes, the damage of which may be the cause of initiation of cell malignancy, has been carried out.Item Assessment of Protein Fractions of RBCs in Stroke under Influence of Nanodiamonds in vitro(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, 2018-09-09) Batyuk, Liliya; Kizilova, Natalya; Muraveinik, OksanaNanodiamonds have unique properties and demonstrate exceptional performance in various fields of investigation and biotechnology, especially in medicine as drug delivery system. Quantitative changes in the red blood cell (RBC) membrane proteins in acute ischemic stroke patients have been studied. The increased amount of ankyrin 2.4, 2.5 fractions, protein of band 3, protein of band 4.1, 4.2 and 4.9 fractions, protein of band 6, tropomyosin (protein of band 7) and protein of band 8 in patients with ischemic stroke have been detected. Increase in the content of spectrin, fractions 2.2, 2.3 (ankyrin), protein of band 2.5, 4.1, glucose transporter and protein of band 8, and decrease in the protein of band 4.2, 4.9 and an increase in the protein of band 4.2, 4.9 and p5 protein of band 5 (actin) from the samples with the nanodiamonds added have been observed. It is concluded that nanodiamonds plays an important role in regulation of the quantitative misbalances of the erythrocyte membrane proteins in the patients with acute ischemic stroke.Item Auramine O as potential amyloid marker: Fluorescence and molecular docking studies(2017) Vus, K.; Tarabara, U.; Semenova, K.; Viter, V.; Nikitina, O.; Trusova, V.; Gorbenko, G.Item Bases of medical information science : Lecture 1(2019-02-04) Batyuk, Liliya; Knigavko, Volodymyr; Chovpan, HannaMultimedia presentation on “Medical informatics” for international students (2018-2019 ac.year).Item Biophysical biomarkers of human erythrocytes for efficient diagnostics of stroke(Riga, Latvia: Baltija Publishing, 2022-10) Batyuk, Liliya; Kizilova, NataliyaTimely and reliable diagnostics of acute and severe diseases like cancer, stroke and myocardial infarction is of a great importance for human health. Biophysical parameters of the red blood cells (RBC) can be used as biomarkers for early diagnosis together with chemical biomarkers and clinical tests. Compared to the latter, the studies on the blood sample are easier accessible and cheaper. The purpose of the paper is to demonstrate the high sensitivity of the dielectric properties of single RBC to the general chemical composition of the blood plasma due to the disease development and the available medical technique for their measurements based on the clinical studies. Methodology of the study is based on experimental measurements on the blood samples of healthy donors (control group) and patients with ischemic and hemorrhage stroke (experimental group) in the electromagnetic feld of microware frequencies at different temperatures between T=0C and 54C. Results confrmed early noticeable influence of the disease on the real and imaginary part of complex dielectric permittivity of the REC and their membranes than can be easily detected by the microwave dielectric spectroscopy (MDS). The variations in the dielectric parameters tend to zero after a successful treatment that can be used as an additional biomarker of a proper individual treatment of the disease. Practical implications. The MDS method in a range of temperatures can be recommended for early diagnostics of the disease severity and estimation of the treatment efciency. The method is fast, simple and cheap, and it needs a sample of the venous blood only. Value/originality. The effectiveness of the proposed method is based on a series of experimental studies and theoretical modeling and gives a new insight to the importance of dielectric properties of RBC that are the most movable cells in our bodies which carries on their membranes the influences of all biochemical markers produced by the disease.Item Chemiluminescence analysis of drug resistance of the recombinant tissue plasminogen activator(Институт биофизики и клеточной инженерии НАН Беларуси, 2021-05-20) Batyuk, Liliya; Muraveinik, Oksana; Kizilova, NataliyaThe aim of this work was to study the biochemiluminescence of blood serum and whole blood in patients who were prescribed rtPA (at a dose of 0.9 mg/kg, the maximum dose was 90 mg) during the first 3 hours after the onset of neurological symptoms (onset of IS).Item Complex flows of cellular suspensions in microtubes at different temperatures(2017-10-23) Kizilova, Nataliya; Batyuk, LiliyaSteady flow of a viscoplastic suspension of RBCs through a microtube at different temperatures has been studies.
