In recent years, there has been a sharp decline in the population of Ukraine. That is why the promotion of measures aimed at preserving and strengthening health is gaining more and more relevance. Its implementation requires financial and social support from the state, which is extremely necessary. The purpose of this study was to establish the influence of economic and social factors on the observance of a healthy lifestyle by employees of medical education institutions and future doctors. Materials and methods. 73 respondents in the age groups of 22-24 years and 25-35 years were involved in the study, of whom 37 were 4th-6th-year students of KhNMU; 26 teachers of KhNMU and 10 teachers of V.N. Karazin KhNU. A sociological study was conducted by means of a survey. The questionnaire was distributed using Google-forms in the relevant groups in social networks Viber, Telegram and Instagram. Results. When analyzing the data of the study, the following data were obtained: the observance of a healthy lifestyle was mostly influenced by the lack of financial support, the absence of preferential conditions for the purchase of season tickets or sports equipment. In addition, it is a lack of safe places for mass sports and/or physical culture. Another factor that significantly affects the observance of a healthy lifestyle is insufficient health education, since none of the interviewees mentioned the implementation of educational activities to clarify the importance and benefits of preserving and strengthening one's health and the degree of responsibility that the individual bears. At the same time, the obtained data outline a number of issues that require resolution, firstly, it is necessary to improve the legal framework to ensure adherence to a healthy lifestyle, and secondly, to implement measures to support and promote health preservation, in particular, giving up bad habits. It is also necessary to provide funding for the creation of safe places for mass sports/physical culture and assistance in providing subscriptions and necessary sports equipment on preferential terms. Conclusion. Thus, summarizing the above information, we can conclude that the issue of maintaining a healthy lifestyle requires close attention from the state, substantiating the involvement of economic resources and society as a whole. The obtained data create a prerequisite for the development of measures to support a healthy lifestyle, in particular its promotion and clarification of the positive consequences of observing and preserving health, with mandatory visual confirmation and clear reasoning of this statement. At the same time, for the implementation of this line of activity, it is necessary to take into account the experience of the countries of the European Union, especially in improving the regulatory and legal framework.en_US
