Abstract
Since the 1970s, the incidence of congenital heart defects diagnosed in children has nearly doubled (from 4.547 cases per 1,000 live births in 1970-1974 to 9.410 per 1,000 live births in 2010-2017). These data provide a wide range of opportunities for interpretation.
