Abstract
To conduct diagnostic and therapeutic manipulation is important to know individual spatial topography of the patient diaphragm. A study to determine the individual characteristics of the spatial topography of the human diaphragm in two vertical planes - sagittal and frontal based on SKT-data by sex, age and somatotype. Material the data of 75 patients examinated with different diseases of the abdominal and thoracic cavities. Measuring of the height of the right and left part of diaphragm and its attachment angles in the frontal plane was made on the posterior-posterior axillary, middle-middle axillary and anterior-anterior axillary lines. Statistical analysis of the measurements revealed little correlation between the age and height of the cupola in male. Other parameters were not correlated with the studied values (gender and type of body structure).
