Hypovitaminosis d is a background for atherogenesis in patients with rheumatoid arthritis

Abstract

Vitamin D is a multifunctional essential substance in the body. Hypovitaminosis D associated with the formation of connective tissue disorders, changes in lipid metabolism, autoimmune disorders, addictions to occurrence of a cancer etc. The high incidence of hypovitaminosis D in the population (up to 81% of the adult population of Ukraine) determines the interest in this pathological condition in patients with connective tissue diseases
