Abstract
The article evaluated the distribution of genotype frequencies of polymorphic loci C-174G gene interleukin-6 in patients with coronary heart disease and obesity by means of examination of 222 patients. Conclusions. Allele G and genotype G/G of polymorphic locus of C-174G gene of IL-6 are associated with the development of coronary heart disease (CHD) and heart failure.
