| dc.description | This method can be 98% effective if certain rules for breast-feeding are followed. The mother must not have started menstruating again during the breast-feeding period. The baby must be breast-fed exclusively (i.e. receive no formula) and the time between feedings must not be longer than every 4 hours during the day and every 6 hours at night.
