Predictors of the progression of metabolic disorders and insulin resistance in patients with arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus type 2

Abstract

The mechanisms of the metabolic disorders progression were analyzed in patients with concomitant course of arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus type 2, of which the most signifi cant are the insulin resistance state, disorders of carbohydrate metabolism, development of atherogenic dyslipidemia and systemic infl ammation in correlation with the imbalance of adipocytokines, which contributes to high cardiovascular risk.
