Description: These methodical recommendations are created for foreign students of medical faculty of the 4th year. Here are detailed features of the normal anatomy and physiology of the ear without which it is impossible to study the subject. A detailed algorithm for diagnosing the pathology of the auditory and vestibular analyzers is given. All modern methods of studying the state of various otters of the ear with examples and detailed description of the research are described. At the end, students are offered open and test questions for self-control. During the compiling of recommendations, materials from recent protocols and experience of otorhinolaryngologists from the clinic of the Kharkov National Medical University were used. The purpose of this training manual is to present to the students of the medical faculty a detailed and understandable algorithm for examination the auditory analyzer, relying on its anatomical and physiological characteristics.
