Item Biochemical parameters of cerebrospinal fluid in patients with acute viralmeningitis and meningoencephalitis(2018) Kozko, Volodymyr; Sokhan, A.; Burma, Ya.; Kuznetsova, Anastasiia; Gavrylov, AnatoliyThe aim. Determination of the diagnostic value of lactate, lactate dehydrogenase, cholinesterase, acid phosphatase and cholinesterase in CSF for early diagnosis and prognosis of acute viral meningitis and meningoencephalitis. Materials and methods. 92 patients with a confirmed viral etiology of the disease were examined. Among them – 20 patients with HSV 1,2 neuroinfection, 19 patients with EBV, 15 with VZV, 14 with HHV-6 and 24 patients with enterovirus neuroinfection. Patients were divided into groups depending on the etiology and severity of the disease. In addition to analyzing the clinical course of the disease, we conducted a CSF study to determine the level of lactate, lactate dehydrogenase, creatinine kinase, cholinesterase and acid phosphatase on admission to hospital and after 10-12 days of treatment. Results of the study. The highest mean age was observed in patients with VZV meningitis – 38.27±18.24 years, the youngest were patients with enterovirus infection – 24.05±5.72 (р˂0.001). The number of women and men was the same in almost all groups, but among patients with HSV 1, 2 neuroinfection women were significantly prevalent – 16 (80 %) out of 20 cases. The most severe course was observed in groups of EBV and HHV-6 neuroinfections. Neuroinfections of enterovirus etiology had the most favorable course. The obtained data indicate the dependence of the levels of indicators, which were determined primarily from the severity of the disease. So the level of creatinine kinase and acid phosphatase in patients with moderate severity was significantly higher in comparison with severe patients (p<0.05). The lactate level was higher in patients with severe neuroinfection (p<0.05). The highest levels of lactate were detected in patients with HHV-6 meningoencephalitis (p<0.05). The level of cholinesterase was significantly lower in severe patients. Conclusions. The obtained data confirm the presence of deep metabolic disturbances in the brain tissues in all patients with acute viral neuroinfections both at the onset of the disease and in the dynamics of treatment. The aim of the study was to study the postmortem patterns of acid phosphatase in muscle tissue (MT) of various types to improve the accuracy of determining the age of death. Materials and methods. Determination of acid phosphatase content is performed in homogenates of myocardial, esophageal, diaphragm and intercostal muscles in the early postmortem period (PMP) (3-13 hours after death) in 30 human corpses. MT sampling was performed in the conditions of sectional biopsy with the use of special tools, preparation of MT homogenates – according to the standard method with subsequent determination of MT phosphatase content in MT homogenates by kinetic method. Results. Analysis of postmortem changes in the content of acid phosphatase in MT depending on the time periods of the determining the age of death revealed that after 3 hours from the moment of death its content was the highest in a myocardium, the smallest – in MT of intercostal muscles (accordingly – 3,475±0,057 units/g and 2,662±0,028 units/g, p <0,001). The general pattern of acid phosphatase content in MT of different types was characterized by an increase in the content with increasing the age of death terms. In addition, the time series of changes in the acid phosphatase content obtained by us became the basis for substantiating the quantitative time dependences and constructing appropriate nomograms for forensic diagnosis of determining the age of death by the acid phosphatase content in MT. Conclusions. It is proved that the content of acid phosphatase naturally (and nonlinearly) changed in all studied homogenates of MT, but the initial and final level of acid phosphatase, depending on the type of MT differs. In addition, the dynamics of changes in the content of acid phosphatase in the time period 3÷13 hours. from the moment of death, depending on the type of MT, also varies. The quantitative analytical and graphical dependences of the change in the content of acid phosphatase in MT in the early PMP revealed in the study allowed to substantiate the corresponding nomograms.Item Study of the condition of the oral mucosa of rats with long-term administration of nifedipine(2019) Savelieva, N.; Schneider, S.; Tkachenko, E.; Nikolaenko, K.The article examines the effect of long-term oral nifedipine on biochemical and cytomorphological changes in the oral mucosa of rats. 1 group intact (5 individuals). The 2nd group (7) received per os nifedipine in a dose of 5 mg / kg body weight of rats for 70 days. Nifedipine in the oral mucosa caused an increase in peroxidation processes, inadequate functioning of antioxidant enzymes, an increase in the activity of the pro-inflammatory enzyme - acid phosphatase. According to morphometric studies revealed violations in the epithelial layer and the lamina propria of the oral mucosa.Item Стан внутрішньоклітинних ферментативних систем у дітей з хронічним захворюванням нирок(2010) Сенаторова, Ганна Сергіївна; Дриль, Інна Сергіївна; Макєєва, Наталія Іванівна; Колібаєва, Тетяна ФедорівнаПроведена оцінка стану внутрішньоклітинних ферментативних систем при хронічному захворюванні нирок у дітей. Досліджено рівень ферментів з різною внутрішньоклітинною локалізацією: малоновий діальдегід та антитіла до фосфоліпідів в сироватці крові, лужна фосфатаза, кисла фосфатаза в добовій сечі. Виявлений дисбаланс внутрішньоклітинних ферментів свідчить про пошкодження канальцієвого апарату нирок, та є проявом ураження як базальної мембрани, так і матриксу плазматичних мембран проксимальних звитих канальців нирок. Запропоновано використовувати рівень внутрішньоклітнних ниркових ферментів для діагностики ранніх порушень функціонування нирок.
