The advantages of using social networks in the learning process are obvious. A high level of interaction between the teacher and the student ensures the continuity of the learning process. Clear understanding of the ideology and interface of social networks for the most part of the Internet audience can save considerable time, bypassing the stage of students' adaptation to the new teacher. The ability to view the video and audio material in remote access mode, helps to better understand and assimilate the subject, allows you to review the material if it was not understood the first time. Lack of personal communication, allow you to build in the communicative space of a social network informal communication between the teacher and the student, regardless of the personal characteristics of the student or teacher.Item Lectures on Medical Informatics(2016-03-18) Knigavko, Volodymyr; Radzishevskaya, Ieugeniya; Chovpan, Hanna; Solodovnikov, Andrey; Kocharova, TetianaLectures on Medical InformaticsItem Mathematical approaches to the study of the distribution of oxygen in heterogeneous tumor tissues(2019-06-18) Batyuk, Liliya; Kizilova, Nataliya; Chovpan, HannaThe tumor growth can be divided into two phases: avascular and vascular growth. We investigate how growth of tumor is related to the oxygen concentrations in the environment that tumor lives in. Oxygen concentration distribution is governed by the diffusion-consumption equation.Item Mathematical modeling in biology and medicine : Lecture 2(Kharkiv National Medical University, 2019-01-05) Batyuk, Liliya; Knigavko, Volodymyr; Chovpan, HannaMultimedia presentation on “Medical informatics” for international students (2018-2019 ac.year).Item Mathematical modeling of temperature distribution in malignant tumors that are heterogeneous by blood stream(2017-04-28) Batyuk, Liliya; Kizilova, Nataliya; Chovpan, HannaThe study of the thermal properties of tumors shows that blood perfusion as the most important biomechanical parameter corresponding to the conversion coefficient in the biothermal equation depends not only on the type of neoplasm, but is largely determined by its size, and is variable by section of the tumor. The heterogeneity of the thermal properties of tumors appears, apparently, for metabolic heat. Naturally, different values of the maximum intensity of the blood flow and the specific power of the thermal source acting on the tissue within one neoplasm lead to unequal values of other thermal coefficients entering into the biothermal equation.Item Mathematical modeling of the dependence of the probability density of the age of death of a person on time(2017-05-10) Batyuk, Liliya; Knigavko, Volodymyr; Ponomarenko, Nataliya; Chovpan, HannaDependence of the life expectancy of a person, more accurately the dependence of the probability density of human death on time, is determined by the known regularities of processes that determine mortality. Most often, the process of damage to certain physiological systems that determine the viability of the organism occurs by accumulating small, non-simultaneous damages of such systems. Therefore, there is an analogy between the processes that lead to the death of people by the mechanism that is being discussed, and the mechanism of oncological diseases. This, in turn, means the possibility of describing the processes of people dying with the help of functional dependencies describing the mechanism of carcinogenesis.Item Methodical features of teaching Medical Information Science at Medical School with «Decision-making in medicine» chapter as an example(2017-04-19) Batyuk, Liliya; Chovpan, Hanna; Knigavko, VolodymyrThis technique for teaching Medical Information Science at the Department of Medical and Biological Physics and Medical Information Science of Kharkiv National Medical University shifts the role in training with the teacher as a lecturer on the student as a person who independently receives knowledge.Item Methodological approaches to the organization of lesson of “Ethic and legal principles of the information management in the heath care system”(Харківський національний медичний університет, 2017-05-23) Batyuk, Liliya; Chovpan, Hanna; Gordienko, NinaThe purpose of the research: to analyze the methodology and organization of conducting classes on the discipline ― Ethic and legal principles of the information management in the heath care system‖.Item The methodological aspect of the decision support system in the problems of training students of medical universities(Київський політехнічний інститут імені Ігоря Сікорського, 2020-04-22) Batyuk, Liliya; Chovpan, HannaThe aim of the study is to develop a methodology for assessing the quality of education of students of medical universities, as well as an information decision support system that will evaluate and improve the effectiveness of education quality managementItem Methods of determination of initial level of students' knowledges on basic disciplines at higher medical educational institutions(2017-05) Chovpan, Hanna; Chovpan, Ihor; Batyuk, LiliyaАвтори пропонують програму, яка визначає рівень вхідних знань студентів з англійською мовою навчання в медичних ВНЗ України. Since the first works on gene therapy to create methods and systems for delivery of exogenous genetic material in certain organs, tissues or cells has been and remains a major problem, the solution of which depends on the successful use of gene therapy. The main objective of the research in this area is the development of vectors, i.e. targeted delivery systems of genes in localized areas of tissues and in specific cell types, providing a high level of expression of therapeutic genes in the body.Item Students' health status and their ability to adapt to a multinational university environment(ALUNA Publishing House, 2021) Меlnychenko, O.; Ognev, V.; Marakushyn, Dmytro; Isaieva, Inna; Batyuk, L.; Chovpan, Hanna; Melnychenko, V.The aim: Development of practical recommendations to further improve students' adaptation to a multicultural university environment as a factor in ensuring their health. Materials and methods: The publication is based on the results of a comprehensive multi-purpose randomized epidemiological study using a standardized questionnaire. Questionnaire results (n = 355) were tested for paired correlations of all considered factors. Results: 93,8 % of respondents positively assessed their overall health with a mode of 3 (satisfactory health). In general, students' health was not particularly sensitive to the effects of temporal and natural factors. Recommendations have been developed to improve students' adaptation to the university's multinational environment, including by preventing stressful situations. It is important that students are sufficiently informed, financially secure, and mentally prepared for student life. Conclusions: The key to safeguarding students' health is developing their skills in adapting to a multinational university environment.Item The list of questions for independent (extracurricular) work in Medical Informatics for 2nd year students(2016-11-02) Radzishevska, Eugenija; Chovpan, HannaItem Theoretical Model for Calculation Electrophysical Properties of Erythrocytes and Its Application in Biomechanics(2017-10-17) Batyuk, Liliya; Chovpan, Hanna; Kizilova, NataliyaThe theoretical model is proposed for calculating the electrophysical properties of erythrocytes and its application in biomechanics. The research is based on the fact that existing theoretical models of electrophoresis of blood elements do not reflect often the real properties of cells in pathological conditions. Of the numerous biophysical and biomechanical studies of blood cells, it follows that in the course of aging, the permeability of the cell membrane changes and the differentiation of cell structures is disturbed. Analogous arguments arise when studying the evolution of ion-exchange properties of blood cells in the pathology of the organism. Hence it follows the usefulness of the electrophoretic technique for studying cells under these conditions and the value of the proposed model for the interpretation of these experiments.
