The existence of each person is considered absolute. Existentialism, together with intellectual drama, seeks to comprehend being as the whole of object and subject. The core of intellectual drama is that everyone decides the most important thing for themselves. It is we who give our lives a certain meaning. The highest value of life is seen in the freedom of the individual. The French intellectual dramas of the 1930s are full of philosophical problems. Representatives of the current understand the world as somewhat hostile to the individual, perceive it as chaotic, disharmonious, absurd. The processes taking place in this world, full of internal contradictions, are devoid of regularities, logical connection, time sequence. Representatives of the existential direction see the highest vital value in the freedom of the individual. The existence of man is interpreted by them as a drama of freedom, because at each phase of self-creation of the individual it depends on choice, decision.Item Game based learning: reasons why should we use games in Latin language and medical terminology course(Астрая, 2021-11-26) Перекрест, Марина Ігорівна; Перекрест, Марина Игоревна; Perekrest, MarynaAcquisition of language skills in the process of educational activity and the choice of effective methods of mastering educational material is one of the urgent problems of studying Latin and medical terminology in higher education. The practical purpose of this work is the problem of successful integration of lexical online games in the course "Latin language and medical terminology". At the initial stage, the basis for further understanding of Latin and medical terminology is laid.Game based used in the classroom of the Latin language and medical terminology of the language is an important component of the lesson. Observations show that games contribute to the fulfillment of important methodological tasks. They create psychological readiness of students for the lesson. Provide the natural need for multiple repetition of language material. Train students in choosing the right lexical component, which is preparation for the lesson. Game-based learning includes activities that are inherently similar to game-play. Gamification and game-based learning promote engagement and sustained motivation in learning, but they do not necessarily lead to improved learning outcomes. The game is a teaching tool that allows you to make the learning process exciting and interesting, and activates the mental activity of students. The game helps to create a trusting and relaxed atmosphere during the lesson, and helps to maintain students' interest in the subject. The main objective of the course “Latin language and medical terminology" is to teach the students Latin terminology , which helps to acquire practical skills and the ability to use them in the professional field. The priority direction is to teach students Latin and Greco-Latin terminology, since Latin is directly related to the rest of the disciplines that students study at medical faculties. Latin language is studied in accordance with the plan of the educational process of medical faculties in the first year, acting as a kind of base for students, and laying the foundation for understanding of international medical terminology in both: native and foreign languages. Studying Latin language is a necessary step for the education of a future doctor. The course “Latin language and medical terminology" should be regarded as a discipline with high potential, which connects this subject with most of the subjects. The immediate issue of the teacher is to remind students that the skills and knowledge will be applied in the further learning process.
