Abstract: The aim of the study was to determine the levels of immunoglobulins IgG, IgM, IgA of patients with COPD and to investigate their relations to echocardiography and spirometry parameters of heart and lungs.Conclusions. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease causes profound disturbances in humoral immunity, associated with structural and functional changes in the lungs and the heart.
