Expantion of Global Capital to the Third World States: Challenges for Ukraine

Abstract

The main target for Ukraine is a transfer from the policy of dependence to the economic partnership. But to reach this goal, it is necessary to implement a series of system reforms, such as getting over the corruption and the shadow economy, improving public administration, restructuring and modernizing the national economy. These plans could be fulfilled with the political will of the ruling elite, the support of the population and the real aid of international financial organizations. Otherwise, Ukraine will eventually become economically dependent or cease to exist as a sovereign state at all.
