Abstract

One part of research carried out in the physiology department includes study of adaptive reactions to intellectual and physical stress using vegetative indexes of cardiovascular system activity. The relevance of our research was to objectify the realization mechanisms of sympathetic and parasympathetic effects of autonomic nervous system reactivity. The aim of the research was to study the reaction of the cardiovascular system depending on Kerdo index.

Description

The research allowed making a conclusion that healthy young individuals do not have a significant prevalence of sympathetic or parasympathetic tonus either at rest or in response to functional tests. Thus, in mechanisms of arterial pressure regulation among young people constitutional morphological and functional features of cardio-vascular system are primarily determining the specific variant of organism's reaction to clino - and orthostatic tests.
